If you have a multi-session event and need to control access to a particular session, you can accomplish it as follows:
1. Specify session attendance limit during session creation.
You can control how many people can attend a specific session by setting the 'Room Capacity' value in the 'Event Sessions' tab of the Ticket Setup section.
2. Allow attendees to register for appropriate sessions and require them to bring tickets to the event
You can toggle your session status between Active or Inactive to allow attendees to register for all of just some of the sessions. Additionally, you can specify which tickets are allowed to sign up for certain sessions. You might have sessions that are only available to members or buyers of premium tickets, and we allow you to have fine-grained control over your session registrations.
3. Scan barcodes on attendees tickets prior to admitting them into the session.
Once your members register for the event and applicable sessions, they will receive a confirmation email with the ticket. That ticket will have a barcode for the main event as well as individual barcodes for each of the sessions they signed up for. You can scan that barcode from your mobile device or computer with a webcam before allowing the individual access to a specific session.
